Scott Johns brings more than two decades of experience in construction, excavation, site development, and hardscape construction to the Flat Creek Excavating leadership team. Before joining Flat Creek, Scott owned and operated his own landscaping and excavation company for over 20 years, building a reputation for quality craftsmanship, practical problem-solving, and client-focused service. Throughout his career, he has worked across multiple sectors of the construction industry, including excavation, commercial site development, retaining wall systems, permeable paving solutions, estimating, and project management.
Scott's experience spans projects ranging from commercial developments and municipal infrastructure improvements to large-scale recreational and resort properties throughout Missouri and the surrounding region. His background includes involvement in significant projects such as the Cox Medical Center parking garage expansion, bridge construction, commercial developments, and complex site improvement projects from bidding through completion. Having worked in both field operations and construction leadership roles, Scott brings a unique perspective that helps clients navigate projects from initial planning and budgeting through site preparation and development.
